2K Hires Popular Battle Royale Lead to Revitalize Challenged Hero Shooter Project Ethos

2K Games has appointed Ben Brinkman from the creators of Apex Legends to direct the studio crew at their internal studio, which is currently developing the anticipated third-person action-packed title known as Project Ethos.

Management Change Comes After Lukewarm Feedback

The new appointee takes on the leadership position at 31st Union following the dismissal of former leader Michael Condrey, who was reportedly let go due to the game's lackluster unveiling last autumn.

Recently, 2K president David Ismailer informed employees about this organizational change through an internal memo, which stressed that early feedback sessions had indicated the requirement for a more defined direction.

Ismailer stated that the developers is now overhauling the project with a renewed approach, aiming to address gamer demands.
